Danas, ozbiljniji igrači koriste programe za praćenje i raščlambu svoje igre. Jedan je od najpopularnijih takvih softvera Poker Tracker, a najnovije izdanje jest "Poker Tracker 3". Ovaj program je „MUST HAVE this season“

Sve odigrane ruke čuvaju se na disku. PT ima mogućnost "autoimport" za većinu poker mreža, dok je za ostale potrebno ručno umetanje.

Jednom kad je "hand history" umetnut, pruža se izvrstan tablični i grafički uvid u gotovo sve pojedinosti igre.

Igrač može jednostavno pratiti broj odigranih ruku, sati, količinu plaćenog rake-a, koje vrste igara je igrao, koliko novaca je dobio/izgubio u kojem vremenskom roku.
